Product Information

Key Features & Mechanics
  • AUTO-LOCK System: Automatically locks the rope and halts the descent the moment the user releases the handle. This allows workers to position themselves securely at a workstation without tying off the device.
  • Ergonomic Handle: Features a multi-function lever that provides highly smooth control during descent without jerky movements or wide dead spaces.
  • Safety Gate Plate: A built-in gate on the moving side plate allows the rope to be installed or removed while the device stays safely clipped to the harness carabiner, preventing accidental drops.
  • Easy Ascents: Once the rope is locked, users can pull slack upward directly through the pivoting cam to climb in short spurts without needing to manually release the handle.
Technical Specifications
  • Rope Compatibility: Designed strictly for low-stretch kernmantle ropes between 10 mm and 11.5 mm in diameter.
  • Weight: Extremely lightweight at 400 grams, making it lighter and more compact than its bulkier counterpart, the Petzl I'D.
  • Load Capacities: Supports up to 150 kg for single operators and up to 200 kg for rescue operations using a secondary friction bypass.
  • Durability: Features a stainless steel reinforcement plate on the moving side plate to resist heavy friction wear. A fully repairable version is also available featuring a replaceable cam and pin.
