Assisted Braking: When a climber falls or weights the rope, the device pivots on the carabiner, and the internal cam engages to pinch and brake the rope, adding security and comfort to the belay.
Anti-Panic Handle: A crucial safety feature, especially for new belayers or when guiding. If the lowering handle is pulled back too far, the anti-panic function activates and stops the descent.
Two Belay Modes: A lockable selector knob allows users to switch between two modes:
- Top-Rope Mode: Facilitates taking in slack, making the belay more comfortable and suitable for training.
- Lead Mode: Optimized for lead climbing, ensuring smooth slack feeding.
Rope Compatibility: It is compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter, and is optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm.
Durability: The device features aluminum side plates and a stainless steel wear plate and cam, which provides extra protection to a high-wear area and extends the lifespan of the device for intensive use.
Ease of Use: Rope installation diagrams are engraved on both the interior and exterior of the device to reduce user error.
